About the event
Welcome to the 15th Annual SDTA Elspeth G. Strathern & JL McKenzie North American Highland Scholarships in conjunction with the World Highland Dance Conference.
The Highland Scholarship events will take place on Friday October 10, 2025.
This is open to all nominated candidates, full details can be found on the website, or speak with your teacher.

Scholarship Dancer Reg Friday
Juvenile Scholarship: grade examinations 1 & 2. Age: 10 years and under 12 years. Junior Scholarship: grade examinations 1 – 4. Age: 12 years and under 14 years. Senior Scholarship: grade examinations 4 – 6. Age: 13 years and under 18 years. A draw will take place to determine the order in which the candidates will dance. Registration includes lunch on Friday!
