About the event
Congratulations on your nomination to participate in the 13th Annual SDTA Elspeth G. Strathern & JL McKenzie NA Highland Scholarship.
Scholarship Details
- Candidates must qualify from grade examinations taken between July 1st 2022 and June 30th 2023.
- Registration will open on May 1st, 2023. All nominated candidates who wish to participate in the scholarship must register. A draw will take place to determine the order in which candidates will dance.
- Registration will close on July 31st, 2023.
- There are 3 sections to the Scholarship Event that will take place on Friday September 29, 2023: Tribute to JL McKenzie Written Paper Master Class
OPTIONAL: Solo Choreography Competition
- Solo choreography dance will be performed, with a maximum time limit of one minute and 30 seconds from the start of the music (not the start of the dance).
- Music must be submitted via this form: https://forms.gle/7uDFJU16t4rt4s1e6 by August 31st 2023.

Scholarship Reg - Juvenile
Juvenile Scholarship candidates will qualify from grade examinations 1 & 2. Candidate age on the day of the grade examination must be a minimum of 10 years and under 12 years. A draw will take place to determine the order in which the candidates will dance.
